How can a generation that never saw Imam Khomeini become an audience for his message?

How can a generation that never saw Imam Khomeini become an audience for his message?

Today, a large part of society knows Imam Khomeini (peace be upon him) not through direct experience, but through narratives, the media, and content produced about him.

The generational gap has changed the way we communicate with audiences, and we cannot expect the same level of impact by using the methods of the past.

The issue today is not simply introducing Imam Khomeini; it is finding the right language and tools to convey his ideas to a generation that has become more discerning and does not accept every message simply out of devotion or reverence.

“Our audience today has never seen Imam Khomeini. Those who are 33 years old today were born after Imam Khomeini had passed away. They now make up more than 54% of our society.”

Excerpted from remarks by Hojjat al-Islam Dr. Ali Komsari on the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s Works
