A disciple within Imam Circle says the late founder of the Islamic Republic was very sensitive about public treasury.
The late Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Ali Jamati, who recently passed away and had been in the service of the Imam for many years, had narrated the following about Imam’s special attention to the public treasury and public rights.
The late scholar had recounted that Imam’s life was no different from the life of a simple seminary student. The case was same before and after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
“Imam was very careful about the issue of the treasury and the rights of the people,” he said.
The great Muslim leader led the Islamic revolution by described himself a servant of the nation.
