Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Hassan Khomeini made remarks while addressing a ceremony held on the occasion of 36th founding anniversary of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works.
“Imam has been the symbol and identity of the Islamic Republic,” the reputed scholar said.
The leader has truly said that Imam has been the soul of the Islamic Republic."
Elsewhere in his remarks, he also highlighted the influence of Imam’s ideals in various parts of the world, stressing that the today’s Islamic Republic in Iraq has also been the result of Imam’s efforts and endeavors.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that Imam announced the Islamic system following holding a historic referendum following victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979. The system has passed its tests and crossed through several challenges over the past years.
